If you remember Zebs, you remember Indianapolis barbecue history.
This vintage-inspired tee pays tribute to Zebs Bar-B-Q, a name once familiar to Indianapolis barbecue lovers. Rather than turning it into a fancy modern logo, we kept the design deliberately simple: bold red lettering, the familiar flame-topped shape and “Original Mambo Sauce” underneath.
The idea was to make it look like the kind of straightforward one-color shirt a neighborhood barbecue joint might have had printed for its employees back in the late 1960s. No polish. No modern branding treatment. Just Zebs Bar-B-Q.
Printed in red on a white Gildan 5000 Heavy Cotton T-shirt, it's a little piece of Indianapolis food nostalgia for people who remember the restaurant, remember the sauce—or simply appreciate the local places that became part of the city's story.
